Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Kizz Daniel has dropped a new extended play, Lemon Chase, a project that captures personal highs and lows while offering fans a preview of his upcoming album, Uncle K.
The seven-track EP, showcases a mix of vulnerability and vibrance, featuring contributions from artists such as Johnny Drille, Bella Shmurda, Zlatan, Odumodu Blvck, Fola, and the legendary Angelique Kidjo.
The singer, known for his versatility, blends street sounds with soulful melodies in a body of work that explores themes of healing, love, and reflection. Industry producers including Reward Beatz, Blaise Beatz, Magic Sticks, Bando, and Ayzed lent their talents to the project.
In his own words, Kizz Daniel said, “When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade out of it. I wanted this project to feel like real life, sweet, sour, confusing, beautiful.”
“This is music for your heart, for when you’re healing, hoping or remembering. I just wanted it to be honest, authentic and true to self,” he added.
With Lemon Chase, Kizz Daniel continues to expand his sound while preparing fans for Uncle K, a forthcoming album expected to delve even deeper into his creative evolution.
