LAGOS — Tensions flared at the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja on Friday as Peter Okoye, one half of the P-Square music duo, was accused of feeding false information to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) during the ongoing trial of former manager Jude Okoye.
Jude and his company, Northside Music Limited, face charges of stealing over $1 million in music royalties.
During cross-examination, Peter’s lawyer challenged his claims, showing evidence that Peter had access to the company’s bank accounts and had received payments, contradicting his earlier statements.
Peter also admitted he never finished university, despite previously saying otherwise.
The court admitted bank and contract documents as evidence, and the trial continues in October
