President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to live in unity and respect one another’s religious beliefs, assuring that his government will continue to protect citizens of all faiths.
In his 2025 Christmas message, Tinubu congratulated Christians in Nigeria and around the world, describing Christmas as a time to reflect on peace, love and hope.
“On this Holy Day, I wish all Christians in Nigeria and around the world a Merry Christmas. I pray for peace in our land, especially among people of different religious beliefs,” he said.
The President stressed that no Nigerian should suffer violence or discrimination because of religion or ethnicity, adding that his administration remains committed to religious freedom and national security.
Tinubu also advised Nigerians travelling for the festive season to be patient and disciplined on the roads, wishing everyone safe journeys and a happy New Year in advance.
