Aliko Dangote, CEO of Dangote Group, has reiterated his company’s commitment to partnering with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), dispelling any claims of rivalry between the two entities.
During a visit to NNPCL’s headquarters in Abuja, Dangote emphasised that the relationship between the two organizations is based on collaboration.
“We are not here to compete with the NNPC Ltd. The NNPC is part and parcel of our business, and we are also part of the NNPC,” Dangote stated.
He commended NNPCL’s newly appointed leadership under Bashir Ojulari, expressing confidence that they would successfully navigate the sector’s challenges.
Ojulari, in turn, confirmed NNPCL’s readiness to deepen collaboration, stressing a commitment to a partnership focused on advancing Nigeria’s economic interests, particularly in the energy sector. The leaders agreed to continue fostering a relationship that prioritises mutual benefit and national prosperity.
