Davido Wins ₦150m After Betting on Super Eagles

Afrobeats star Davido has reportedly made a huge profit after correctly predicting Nigeria’s opening match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The singer placed a bet on the Super Eagles’ Group C game against Tanzania, predicting that both teams would score. Nigeria went on to win the match 2–1 on Tuesday.
Tanzania scored first, but Nigeria responded with two goals. Ademola Lookman sealed the comeback with a late winner.
Reports say Davido earned about $96,564, roughly ₦150 million, from the successful bet.
The victory puts Nigeria in a strong position in Group C as they push for a fourth AFCON title.
