Energia Launches Trainee Scheme for Young Nigerian Graduates

Energia Limited unveiled a graduate trainee programme for young Nigerians on Monday in Lagos. The scheme targets fresh graduates seeking hands-on experience in the energy sector. Officials announced the initiative to build a pipeline of skilled professionals for the oil and gas industry.

The programme offers practical training across operations and business functions. Trainees will gain mentorship, coaching, and exposure to field and office settings. It aims to equip participants with skills for a dynamic energy landscape.

Young Nigerians with strong academic records qualify for the scheme.

– Graduates in Engineering, Geosciences, Business, or Finance holding at least Second-Class Upper degrees
– Those with Second-Class Lower degrees but Master’s distinctions
– Completion of NYSC in 2023 or later

Applications opened immediately and close on December 12, 2025. Interested candidates should visit the company’s website for details and submission.

Energia’s Chief Operating Officer, Oladimeji Bashorun, hailed the effort as an investment in the nation’s talent. “This programme equips them with practical skills, exposure, and the confidence to thrive,” he said.
