FAAN Halts Access Fees at Abuja Airport to Address Traffic Congestion

To ease traffic flow around the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has temporarily suspended all access gate fees.

The suspension, which will last from January 24 to February 7, 2025, was announced in a statement on Saturday.

FAAN explained that the move is intended to alleviate traffic congestion caused by ongoing construction at the airport.

The authority also acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the construction and assured the public of its continued commitment to improving the travel experience for all road users.
