The Federal Government has restated its commitment to fighting corruption, insisting that anti-graft agencies will operate without political interference.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, gave the assurance at an event in Abuja on Wednesday, stressing that the Tinubu administration will not shield anyone found guilty of corruption.

He explained that the government is pushing reforms to ensure speedy trials for corruption cases and strengthen institutions like the EFCC and ICPC to function more effectively.

Idris also called on state governments to support the fight against corruption by promoting transparency and accountability in their local institutions. He noted that state information commissioners play a vital role in educating the public and shaping perception on government policies.

“The fight against corruption is a priority for this administration, and there will be no safe space for offenders,” the minister declared.
