The Lagos Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) launched its 2024 Ember months campaign on Tuesday, in partnership with Guinness Nigeria PLC.
Reiterating on the Theme”Speak Up Against Dangerous Driving: Crashes Kill More Passengers than Drivers,” the campaign aims to reduce road accidents by empowering passengers to take a stand against reckless driving.
Lagos Sector Commander Kehinde Hamzat highlighted that passenger indifference to unsafe driving is a significant cause of road traffic crashes.
By educating passengers on road safety, he hopes to decrease accident rates, injuries, and fatalities.
