Fubara Sacks Commissioners, Pledges Renewed Commitment to Rivers People

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has dismissed all commissioners and other public officers in his government with immediate effect.

The announcement was made on Wednesday in Port Harcourt through his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi.

Speaking during a valedictory session with his cabinet, Fubara thanked the outgoing officials for their service to the state over the past two years.

He also urged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu in building “a peaceful, secure and prosperous country,” while assuring Rivers people of his commitment to serve “with renewed vigour.”
