India Nabs Nigerian Drug Kingpin Supplying
Indian authorities arrested a Nigerian cartel leader named Nick on Friday for flooding Telangana with narcotics worth N812 million in just two months. The suspect, based in Nigeria, peddled drugs online to no fewer than 1,975 consumers through two foreign-operated phone numbers. Telangana’s Anti-Narcotics Bureau led the bust, mapping 30 courier offices that his handlers used to ship the contraband. (India Nabs Nigerian Drug Kingpin Supplying)

Investigators uncovered the plot during probes into the Malnadu Restaurant and Mahindra University cases, filed months earlier. They found Nick’s crew hid the drugs inside merchandise bought in bulk from Flipkart. Delhi-based Nigerians placed those large orders, exposing the full supply chain.
The raid came days after police nabbed over 50 Nigerians for visa overstays in a joint sweep with the Narcotics Control Bureau, Delhi Police Crime Branch, and Noida Police. All suspects wanted by Telangana now face deeper questioning.
This shadowy trade preys on the lost and desperate, weaving addiction into young lives far from home. Each arrest spares a thread of hope, but the pain of shattered families demands fiercer vigilance against such hidden poisons.
