In a tragic incident on Saturday in Lagos, two factory workers lost their lives after falling into a diesel tank in the Ikosi Oregun area.
According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the first worker, an adult male, fell into the diesel reservoir while working. His colleague, also an adult male, tried to rescue him but ended up falling in as well.
Both men were rushed to the hospital by the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) after receiving first aid, including CPR.
However, despite extensive medical intervention, LASEMA later confirmed that the two men succumbed to their injuries and passed away.
