The remains of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will be buried on Tuesday in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, disclosed this on Monday during a press briefing at the Government House in Katsina. According to the governor, Buhari’s body is expected to arrive in the state by noon, with the burial slated for 2 p.m. in Daura, located in the Daura Local Government Area.
“We’ve concluded arrangements with the family and relevant authorities in London. The body will arrive Katsina by 12 noon tomorrow, and the burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Daura,” Radda stated.
He expressed condolences on behalf of the state government to the Buhari family, the people of Katsina, and the entire nation.
“We pray that Almighty Allah grants us the strength to bear this loss,” he added.
