Muhammed Babangida Debunks Viral Rejection Rumour, Affirms Role at Bank of Agriculture

Muhammed Babangida has publicly confirmed his acceptance of the chairmanship of Nigeria’s Bank of Agriculture, dismissing online claims suggesting otherwise.

A fake letter making the rounds on social media had alleged that Babangida declined the appointment.

MUHowever, in a clarifying statement, he thanked President Bola Tinubu for the confidence placed in him and made it clear he has no reservations about taking up the role.

He described the viral letter as a calculated attempt to mislead the public, calling for vigilance against misinformation and affirming his readiness to contribute to national development through the new position.
