NFC Debunks Death Rumours of Ali Nuhu

The Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) has dismissed claims circulating online that its Managing Director, Ali Nuhu, has died.

The false report, which spread through Facebook and other platforms, alleged the popular actor was involved in a car crash.

NFC’s Director of Public Affairs, Brian Etuk, described the rumours as baseless and harmful. He confirmed that Nuhu is in good health and actively running the affairs of the corporation.

Nuhu, a respected filmmaker and actor, was appointed head of the NFC in February 2024 by President Bola Tinubu.

The agency also cautioned those behind the hoax, warning that measures are underway to address the spread of misleading content.
