Nigeria Complete Perfect Group Run With 3–1 Win Over Uganda

The Super Eagles ended their group stage campaign at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with a 3–1 victory over Uganda in Morocco.
Paul Onuachu opened the scoring in the first half, giving Nigeria a deserved lead after dominating play. Raphael Onyedika then took control of the game in the second half, scoring twice to put the result beyond doubt.
Uganda, reduced to 10 men, managed a late goal, but it was not enough to change the outcome.
The win sees Nigeria finish top of Group C with all nine points, while Uganda exit the competition at the group stage.
