The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has forecasted sunny weather and thunderstorms across Nigeria from Wednesday to Friday.
Northern Nigeria will experience sunny skies with possible afternoon thunderstorms in some states, including Kaduna, Adamawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, and Taraba. The North Central region will see sunny weather and thunderstorms, particularly in the Federal Capital Territory, Benue, Plateau, Niger, Kwara, and Kogi states.
In the southern region, there will be cloudy mornings with intervals of sunshine, and thunderstorms are expected over parts of Delta, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Bayelsa states, particularly in the afternoon.
NiMet has advised the public to take precautions due to strong winds accompanying thunderstorms and urged airline operators to consult specific weather reports for their operations.
