Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has dumped the PDP and officially moved to the Accord Party to run for a second term. He made the announcement at the Government House in Osogbo.

Adeleke said he chose Accord because its focus on welfare matches his own agenda for workers and citizens. He added that leaders across the state supported his decision.

He said the new platform will help continue the projects and reforms his administration started in 2022. Adeleke urged Osun residents to back him ahead of the August 2026 governorship election.
