Unknown assailants kidnapped Mrs Ibukun Otesile, daughter of Reverend Dr Lekan Babatunde, at the front of her home in the General Gas area of Ibadan, Oyo State. The incident took place around 8pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Mrs Otesile, a mother of two and the 2025 President of Junior Chamber International Ibadan Elite, serves as the daughter of the founder and General Overseer of Jesus Is King Ministries.
The Christian Association of Nigeria in Oyo State first raised the alarm on its Facebook page at 10:08pm that same night.
