President Tinubu Returns from France, Set to Swear In New Chief Justice of Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a brief work visit to France .

The President, who arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the early hours of Friday after departing for France on Monday.

Following his return from France, President Tinubu is set to officiate the transition of leadership in the Nigerian judiciary, with the swearing-in of Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria.

The President will oversee the swearing-in of Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun at the Council Chambers in the State House.

Justice Kekere-Ekun will succeed Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, who retired on Thursday upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 70.
