Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has called on investors to take advantage of new opportunities in the state after Lagos emerged as Nigeria’s top performer in the latest Subnational Ease of Doing Business report, scoring 85.6 per cent.
He made the appeal while commissioning the TY Logistics Park in Alaro City, a major new facility built by TY Holdings inside the Lekki Free Zone. The 29,000-square-metre complex is expected to strengthen Nigeria’s logistics and supply chain network.
Sanwo-Olu praised the company for backing Lagos’ economic vision and said the project underscores growing confidence in the state. He highlighted ongoing efforts to improve movement of goods in the Lekki axis, including a dedicated road that will link Lekki Port, Dangote Refinery, and Alaro City to ease pressure on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
The state government says developments like this will help deepen investor interest, modernise logistics, and reinforce Lagos’ position as a gateway to Nigeria’s economy.
