Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, received the chieftaincy title of Okanlòmo of Eyọ Ọba Alakẹtẹ Pupa, Laba Ẹkun. His wife, Layal Tinubu, earned a complementary title during the same installation ceremony in Lagos State.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu attended the event and congratulated the couple. He described the honours as recognition of their service, character, and commitment to Lagos culture and its people. Sanwo-Olu wished Seyi Tinubu continued strength and clarity in his new role.
The ceremony highlighted the couple’s contributions and ties to Lagos traditions. It reflects ongoing cultural acknowledgements for public figures and their families.
Such installations strengthen bonds between leadership families and traditional institutions in the state.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but this turned out to be surprisingly useful. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.
I’ve bookmarked this post for future reference. Thanks again!
