Social Media Influencer VDM Reports ₦180m Fraud on NGO Website.

Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has revealed that ₦180 million was stolen after the website of his NGO was hacked.

In a video shared on Instagram on Friday, VDM disclosed that ₦160 million of the diverted funds had been traced to an unknown account, leaving ₦20 million intact.

He confirmed that one suspect had been arrested and that the affected account was now under a Post No Debit (PND) order.

“We’ve tracked the person, and we’re heading to Jos to recover the money,” he said, adding that the NGO’s app had been temporarily shut down to prevent further breaches.

The Martins Vincent Osei Initiative, which VDM launched in October, had quickly raised over ₦30 million in donations.

Music executive Don Jazzy contributed ₦100 million to the cause, making him one of the initiative’s biggest donors.

VDM assured supporters of regular updates as efforts to recover the stolen funds continue.
