Actor Taye Arimoro has accused actress and producer Peggy Ovire of supervising an assault on him after a disagreement on a movie set.
Arimoro claims the incident began when he attempted to leave after completing his scenes, but his exit was allegedly blocked by Ovire’s team.
He says the situation escalated at the estate gate, where he was surrounded by several people who forced him back, deflated his tyres, and later attacked him as he tried to get a ride home.
According to his lawyers, Arimoro suffered a fractured jaw, bite marks and other injuries, which they say have affected his work and emotional wellbeing.
He is demanding a public apology and ₦100 million in compensation, giving Ovire seven days to respond. Ovire has not yet issued a public statement.
