Tinubu to Present 2025 Budget to National Assembly on December 17.

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to present the 2025 budget to the joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 17.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio disclosed this during Thursday’s plenary, adding that the presentation will take place in the House of Representatives chamber.

The proposed ₦47.9 trillion budget is based on the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF/FSP) for 2025–2027, which President Tinubu submitted earlier to both legislative chambers.

The framework outlines key economic indicators, including oil price and production benchmarks, exchange rate projections, and a targeted GDP growth rate.

The Senate Committee on Finance, National Planning, and Economic Affairs has been tasked with reviewing the MTEF/FSP and submitting its report within a week for legislative consideration.
