Wike Says Rivers Politics Will Begin January 2026, Calls Himself Most Abused Politician After Tinubu

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said he is the most abused politician in Nigeria today, after President Bola Tinubu.

Wike made the statement on Saturday in Rivers State, where he also announced that political activities in the state will officially begin in January 2026.

The former Rivers governor said his support for Tinubu has never changed, stressing that he does not go back on agreements.

“I believe in agreement. If you cannot do something, don’t agree to it,” Wike said.
