Users of X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, experienced a significant outage on Saturday, May 24. Both the website and app became inaccessible starting around 1:30 p.m., with complaints spiking rapidly according to DownDetector.
This is the second major disruption in days, following a widespread outage on May 22 that affected millions and disabled key features like direct messaging and login.
The cause of the latest outage has not yet been disclosed.
