Kogi Central lawmaker, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, will return to the Senate later this month as her six-month suspension has ended.
Her lawyer, Victor Giwa, confirmed she is currently in London but prepared to resume when plenary reconvenes on September 23. “She’s ready to resume her term. Everything is in place, and the six months have expired,” he said.
Giwa added that Senate leaders were not expected to block her return. “Even the leadership of the Senate is ready to welcome her. There is no obstacle at all,” he assured.
Natasha, who was suspended in March after a dispute over her seat during plenary, is now expected to return to her chambers after her arrival from London.
