Pastor Enoch Adeboye has cautioned Nigerians against dismissing the power of prayer, warning that the country would be in a more devastating state if not for constant spiritual intervention.
Speaking during a special service at the RCCG headquarters in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, which hosted various security and paramilitary officials, Adeboye emphasised the invisible impact of persistent prayers on national stability.
“People ask, ‘Where is the result of all these prayers?’ I just laugh,” Adeboye said. “If prayers were to stop for even one week, Nigeria would face a terrifying reality. God still rules in the affairs of men. Keep praying.”
He also affirmed that divine protection, not just physical effort, is key to national security, urging the nation to continue seeking God’s guidance.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God also used the occasion to commend security agencies and affirmed its commitment to backing them through prayer.
