The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has urged Nigerians who lost money to the fraudulent cryptocurrency platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), to report to its offices in Ibadan and Lagos for investigation.

According to EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, the commission is already prosecuting three suspects, namely Adefowora Olanipekun, Otorudo Avwerosuo, and Ehirim Chukwuebuka, over their alleged roles in the scheme.

CBEX reportedly enticed investors with promises of huge, unrealistic profits but left many with heavy financial losses. The EFCC said victims who made payments through persons connected to CBEX branches in Ibadan and Idimu, Lagos, should assist investigators by presenting their complaints at its zonal offices.
