The Concerned Parents and Educators Initiative (CPE) has advised JAMB to adopt cloud-based technology to improve its computer-based test system and prevent recurring technical problems.
During a recent online forum on solutions to JAMB’s challenges, the group said cloud support would boost system reliability, secure data, and reduce disruptions during exams.
They also proposed introducing two UTME sessions yearly to reduce pressure on candidates and allow better exam management.
Other key suggestions included increasing the number of accredited CBT centres in rural areas, improving monitoring, and using advanced systems to detect malpractice.
Education experts at the event highlighted the need for partnerships between government and private schools to ease overcrowding and called for tighter regulation of CBT centres.
CPE founder Yinka Ogunde said the group plans to continue pushing for reforms to strengthen Nigeria’s education system.
