GTBank Adjusts Banking Hours Nationwide Today for Mid-Year Audit

Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) is shortening its in-branch banking hours across Nigeria today, June 30, to carry out a scheduled half-year audit.

The adjustment means that customers in upcountry areas will only be able to access branch services until 2:00 p.m., while those in Lagos have until 3:00 p.m. to complete in-person transactions.

“Please be informed that our branches nationwide will close to customers early on Monday, June 30, 2025 for our half-year audit,” the bank noted in a message shared with customers over the weekend.

Although physical branches will close earlier than usual, GTBank reassured customers that its digital channels remain fully active for transactions during the downtime. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, July 1.

GTBank also thanked its customers for their patience and continued support during the brief adjustment.
