The action was carried out by the office of the Sergeant-at-Arms, following a directive from the management of the National Assembly. This development comes after the senator’s six-month suspension ended earlier in September. She had been suspended by the Senate in March 2025.
The unsealing of the office grants the senator physical access to her workspace. However, it remains unclear when she will officially resume her duties in the Senate chamber.
