People in Inisa town, Osun State, used their yearly get-together on Saturday to ask leaders for better roads and a college in the area. The 34th Inisa Day drew crowds to show off local ways and raise cash for home projects.
A top party member said the place is growing fast but misses out on help from state and national bosses for big builds. He called for quick aid to match what locals have done on their own, like setting up schools and clinics.
The head of the town group promised to keep growth first and thanked everyone for backing the event. He said it highlights their strong ways and brings folks together for good.
A former university boss noted that Inisa sorts most needs from inside but wants more from rulers. He added that while some support comes now and then, it falls short of what they earn.
The town, with 15 areas and no splits, has built much through group work but feels left behind in public plans. Leaders hope talks lead to fair shares soon.
