Former presidential hopeful Peter Obi has urged Nigerians to treat the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) as their strongest tool for change, warning citizens not to sell their votes.
Writing on X, Obi said the PVC gives power to the poor and protection to the weak, describing it as “the voice of the voiceless” in Nigeria’s democracy.
He warned that politicians who buy votes are “criminals in disguise,” arguing that such deals only fuel corruption and deny citizens access to education, healthcare, and jobs.
“The power to change this country is in your hands,” he told voters, urging them to register, collect, and safeguard their PVCs ahead of elections.
