A Nigerian TikTok personality, popularly called Geh Geh, has gone viral after his live session on Thursday pulled in more than 177,000 viewers and fetched him gifts valued at over $30,000.
Known for his self-styled “University of Wisdom and Understanding,” Geh Geh shares unorthodox views on relationships and money, often blending humor with sharp social commentary.
Reacting to the milestone, he thanked fans for their support. “I no be graduate, I be orphan, but Nigerians don show me love,” he said in a video after the live stream. He also joked that men who “graduate” from his university would never again be pressured by women for money.
Despite sparking debate with his teachings, Geh Geh’s rise is being hailed by many as an example of digital empowerment, proof that social media can offer financial opportunities even for those without formal education.
His growing fan base, who now refer to themselves as “students” of his online university, continues to swell, raising fresh questions about how platforms like TikTok are reshaping fame and success in Nigeria.
