Social media influencer VeryDarkMan has revealed that renowned music producer Don Jazzy (Michael Collins Ajereh) is the anonymous donor behind a ₦100 million contribution to his newly established Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).
This NGO, aimed at promoting community development and improving public schools for the benefit of the deprived masses.
Due to the anonymity behind the transfer, VeryDarkMan expressed concern about the large deposit, sharing a video on Instagram where he requested an investigation by Zenith Bank, fearing potential fraud.
He assured the public that he wasn’t involved in any illegal activities, such as money laundering.
However, in a follow-up video on Thursday, VeryDarkMan confirmed that Don Jazzy had reached out to explain that he was behind the donation, aiming to support the initiative.
In Don Jazzy’s message, he expressed his belief in the cause and praised VeryDarkMan’s transparency, emphasising the need for such integrity in Nigeria.
Following the revelation, Don Jazzy trended on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), with netizens lauding his generosity and offering prayers for the producer. VeryDarkMan reassured his followers that he would maintain transparency and continue updating the public on how the raised funds are used.
