President Bola Tinubu has urged the Super Falcons to seal victory in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final, describing the match against Morocco as a chance to make history.
In a statement on Saturday, Tinubu called on the players to “finish strong” and deliver Nigeria’s 10th continental title. “Go for the tenth! Bring the trophy home. Your fellow countrymen and women are rooting for you,” he said.
The president praised the team’s unbeaten campaign and highlighted their display of sportsmanship during the tournament, pledging the government’s full support as they head into the decisive clash in Rabat.
