Nollywood star Chioma Akpotha is riding high on a wave of success as her YouTube channel crosses the 100,000-subscriber mark, a digital feat that highlights her growing influence beyond the screen.
This digital breakthrough comes shortly after her recent recognition as Best Lead Actress at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, marking a season of wins for the actress.
In an emotional post shared on her Instagram, Akpotha reflected on the journey from modest beginnings to reaching a six-figure subscriber count. “100k subscribers is no easy feat,” she noted, recalling how excited she was to hit just 1,000 not long ago.
She credited her loyal fan base, whom she affectionately calls her “Original Geez”, for the support, saying: “I am eternally grateful to you all… Please stick with us, and soon, just like now, we shall celebrate more milestones together!”
